LANDscapers at Creative Arts Spectacular
Throughout 2009, LANDscapers will activate and animate significant public spaces across Brisbane, transforming each new site into a voluminous sculptural garden of floating, lucent vines. From July 18th to 21st, LANDscapers will spread its flowering tendrils through the stained glass window lit space of The Old Museum Building’s Studio 3 as part of the Creative Arts Spectacular. Come and be delighted, inspired, and intrigued by LANDscapers as it creeps through the studio and up its walls, inviting us to question the urban landscapes we inhabit and the natural world we’ve left outside.
Managed by artisan – idea:skill:product. For more information on LANDscapers, please go to www.artisan.org.au
LANDscapers has received financial assistance through Arts Queensland and from art+place, the Queensland Government’s Public Art Fund.
LANDscapers project was assisted through Arts Tasmania by the Minister for Environment, Parks, Heritage, and the Arts. Proudly sponsored by CAST Gallery, Tasmania.

This light and appealing space enables us to represent and support a stable of fifteen emerging and mid career artists who are predominantly Queensland (and locally) based . Our artists have been specially selected for their diverse, interesting, and unique styles. Their works are constantly on show and are available for collectors and first-time buyers.
In addition, as part of our Exhibition programme these artists' works will be accompanied by a feature artist or artists' works for two weeks of each month.
Visit the Gallery, enjoy the artwork, register for our monthly exhibitions, and chat with our friendly art consultants. The Gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00am to 5.00pm daily.
